After my massage with Jenny, I left feeling anything but relaxed. Unfortunately this session was the worst I have ever received and I have been receiving 5-10 massages a year for many years now. Upon meeting Jenny she showed me to the massage room and I was told to 'get on the table'. This was the only thing she said to me. She never asked if I had any injuries/ health conditions/ what type of pressure I preferred- no communication whatsoever. The room was very noisy. I could hear all the conversations going downstairs. Jenny left the lights throughout the entire massage making it very difficult to relax in the little room. Also when I turned over, the pillow on the face cradle pushed aside positioning my face directly on hard plastic. I attempted 2 separate times to adjust the pillow while Jenny said nothing. She never asked if I was comfortable or offered any alternative. Eventually I just scooted down and put my head on the table. I seriously doubt the quality of the schooling/ training of my MT. The strokes were short and pressure varied. The draping left a lot to be desired. She did not work full muscle groups and often pushed into bone or pinched tissue. I could not be more disappointed in my experience.
Took my mother here for her birthday to get a mani/pedi and hot stone massage... she loved the massage and said it was really nice and relaxing however the mani/pedi was horrible. I got us borth the Pumpkin Pedicure & Manicure ($85 each) and it was such a bad idea. The pumpkin was too hot that it was burning our hands and after it was all done our nails bubbled up and we had to remove the polish and repaint them ourselves. Worst spend $170 in my entire life! I will never go back to this salon for any reason!
This place is so beautiful. My stylist, Brent, did a great job. He provided subtle advice, but was never pushy. He also did a great job styling my cut as well. I feel very relaxed and pampered there.
What a grand salon and I would highly recommend a visit! All of the staff that I met treated me like a queen. The cut is beyond fabulous.
I love Ashley and how she cuts my hair. I've lived all over the place including southern Cali and have yet to find someone comparable. I've used the spa services as well. I thought they were decent. I fly back to PA for Ashley to do my hair so if that's not a statement I'm not sure what is!
